Looking for the ultimate sweet deal in festive fun this Christmas? Then pick up a pack of chocolate coins and head to Stratford.
The Slide attraction, based at the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park (QEOP), will be accepting the tasty treats as legal tender in a world first for one hour only between 11am and 12pm on December 20.
Take along 100 gold-wrapped coins to gain access to the viewing platform before descending down the 114.5m high sculpture through its terrifying tunnel.
Peter Tudor, director of visitor services at QEOP, said the venue offered families something a bit different for the festive season.
He said: “We know that Christmas is a time of overindulging, so we’re excited to be the first attraction to offer people a chance to put all their excess chocolate to good use.”
All tickets are subject to availability on the day.
