Police have arrested a man on suspicion of GBH after a stabbing yesterday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident in Norwich Road, Forest Gate, shortly after 2pm.
A 55-year-old man was taken to hospital with minor injuries. They are not believed to be life-changing or life-threatening.
Officers arrested a 39-year-old man near the scene on suspicion of GBH and affray. He has been taken to an east London police station where he remains in custody.
