Four men have been arrested after police raided a crack house.
Officers visited a home in Heigham Road, East Ham, subject to an Anti-Social Behaviour Closure Order notice – often referred to as a crack house closure notice – and suspected to be connected with drugs on Sunday.
The four men were found to be in possession of a number of wraps of what officers believed to be Class A drugs and were detained for breaching the notice and on suspicion of possessing with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Three received an adult caution for breaching the notice.
A fourth was charged with entering a premises in contravention of a closure order contrary to the Anti-Social Behaviour Act 2003 and appeared before Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday.
