A teenage boy is in hospital after he was stabbed during the morning rush hour.
Officers in Nelson Street, East Ham were alerted to a teenager who had been stabbed nearby at 8.30 am yesterday (January 27).
It is understood that before the stabbing, the 16-year-old victim and his friend were involved in an altercation with the suspect.
The London Ambulance Service was already on the scene and took the victim to an east London hospital. His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Police said that no arrests had been made and that enquiries continue.
