A man has been fighting for his life after a “suspected assault” in Newham.
Met Police officers were called at around 7:00pm on Saturday (August 5) when they found him injured in Katherine Road Junction with Bristol Road.
He was rushed to the hospital where he now remains. His injuries are believed to be life-threatening at this stage.
Officers suspect that the man was a victim of an assault, but no arrests have been made so far.

A crime scene is still in place and a part of Katherine Road is closed to public.
Bus route 325 is on diversion in both directions via Green Street and Plashet Grove due to incident.
Police have urged witnesses and anyone with information to contact them on 101 citing reference CAD 5804/5 Aug.
