A teenager was taken to a "major trauma centre" after a second crash in two days on a major road in Newham.
A crash between a cyclist and car in Prince Regent Lane in Plaistow today (October 17) closed the road between Chalk Road and Oban Close in both directions.
It is the second crash involving a cyclist this week on the same road.

London Ambulance Service (LAS) has confirmed they were reported to the scene of the crash.
A spokesperson for LAS said: “We were called today (October 17) at 2:22pm to reports of a road traffic collision between a car and cyclist on Prince Regent Lane, Plaistow.
“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including two ambulance crews and an advanced paramedic. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.
“We treated a teenager at the scene before taking them to a major trauma centre.”
It is unclear if the injuries the crash victim sustained are life threatening or life changing.
The Metropolitan Police has been approached for comment.
