A man has been taken to a major trauma centre after being injured in Stratford in a possible stabbing.
London's Air Ambulance was dispatched alongside ground ambulance crews to the scene of the incident.
It comes as Facebook users claimed a “regular daily stabbing” had occurred.
A spokesperson for the London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 5.18pm yesterday (30 October) to reports of an incident on Tramway Avenue, Stratford.
“We sent two ambulance crews and an incident response officer to the scene. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance by car.
“We treated a man at the scene for injuries and took him to a major trauma centre as a priority.”
It has not been confirmed if the man’s injuries were those from a stabbing-related incident.
The Metropolitan Police has been contacted for comment.
