A man assaulted in a supermarket car park in Stratford was attacked by a group of men, police have said.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called to Grove Square at 12.26pm on June 1 with reports of a man being attacked.
The man in his 50s was found with head injuries at the scene, believed to have been sustained after he was "beaten and assaulted" by a group of three men.
He was taken to hospital by London Ambulance Service paramedics.
The incident is believed to have taken place in the car park of the Morrisons supermarket in The Grove after shoppers reported seeing a cordon blocking part of it off.

The victim's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-changing and an investigation is underway.
