This weekend, thousands of musical theatre fans will be heading to London's Trafalgar Square for the annual West End Live. 

Set in the heart of Theatreland, the weekend-long event celebrates the best musicals currently on stage and offers a chance for all to see a glimpse at new shows.

West End Live is free for everyone and is presented by Westminster City Council and the Society of London Theatre along with support from the Mayor of London.

During the weekend, you can expect performances from West End Shows including The Book Of Mormon, Mamma Mia!, Hadestown, Back to the Future the Musical and more.

When is West End Live 2024?

In 2024, West End Live will take place in Trafalgar Square on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23.

What time does West End Live start and finish? 

On Saturday, June 22, the event will start at 11am with a performance from the cast of Disney's Frozen and will end at 5pm.

On Sunday, June 23, the day will start slightly later at 12pm with a performance by Disney's The Lion King and the weekend will end at 5pm following a performance by Westway Music.

Do you have to get tickets for West End Live?

West End Live is a completely free event with no tickets required, however, it is important to note that entry is based on a first come first served basis.

West End Live Bag Policy

Although bags are permitted into the venue at Trafalgar Square, it is encouraged not to bring large cases or bags. 

There are left luggage areas located at Charing Cross station which is a short walk away.

Plus all bags will be searched and alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
