David Beckham has launched a prize draw to win a £5 million luxury home in east London.

The winner will be given the keys to a four-bedroom house in Victoria Park village, Hackney, complete with a gym and a spa.

The draw is Omaze’s biggest ever, and will help raise money for London’s Air Ambulance.

The partnership has been backed by former England football captain David Beckham, who said the air ambulance charity is “vital” for Londoners.

Alongside the home, the lucky owner will also receive £250,000 in cash to help them settle in.

The house incudes a sauna, a jacuzzi, an atrium courtyard garden, as well as a kitchen fitted with Miele appliances.

A games room containing a pool table and bar is located on the lower ground floor, alongside a home gym.

There is a study area on the landing, and two bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms on the first floor.

A guest suite can be found on the ground floor, while the top floor is reserved for the main bedroom suite.

The home is just a four-minute walk from Victoria Park, close to Cambridge Heath and Mile End stations.

Money raised from the draw will help London’s Air Ambulance to replace their two helicopters.

The charity’s teams attended to more than 2,000 patients last year, and are the only service in London who can perform certain life-saving interventions at the scene.

Each year, it costs London’s Air Ambulance Charity £15 million to provide its service.

It will cost an additional £15 million to replace its two current helicopters, bring each new helicopter into service and keep them flying for years to come.

The charity needs to raise these funds by the end of September this year.

David Beckham said: “As a proud Londoner I know how vital London’s Air Ambulance Charity is.

“When a patient is critically injured in the capital, they don’t have time to get to hospital.

“But London’s Air Ambulance can deliver expert medics to perform emergency surgery anywhere in the city within minutes.

“I hope that people respond to this campaign so that everyone in our city knows that London’s Air Ambulance will be there if they need them.”

Omaze has guaranteed a minimum donation of £1 million from the partnership.

Online entries for the draw close on July 28. Those who enter before midnight on July 14 are also in with the chance of winning a Maserati GranTurismo Trofeo worth over £170,000.
