Police swarmed an airport in Newham where a man was arrested after allegedly attempting to breach security.
Officers from the Metropolitan Police were called at 6.45am this morning (June 21) to complaints about a man in London City Airport.
The airport is located in the Royal Docks.
Multiple police vehicles were reportedly seen surrounding the terminal earlier today after a man had allegedly attempted to breach security inside the venue.
At the scene, the Met engaged with the man until 9.30am.

READ MORE:He was then detained and arrested on suspicion of breaching security and public nuisance offences.
A London City Airport spokesperson said: "We are aware of an incident this morning with an individual where police were called and have since detained them.
"The airport is operating as normal."
