Waltham Forest College recently hosted a spectacular End of Year Creative and Fashion Exhibition, showcasing the incredible talent and creativity of its Art & Design, Hairdressing and Fashion students.

The event, titled ‘The Show’, captivated audiences with an array of stunning creations and innovative designs. Students stunned audiences with creations from fashion and hairdressing, held in the College’s Learning Resource Centre, which was transformed into a stunning Balenciaga-inspired catwalk.

‘The Show’ attracted fashion enthusiasts from across London, as well as proud parents and supporters of the students. The event featured an impressive range of fashion themes, including War & Fashion, Ancient Egypt, Upcycled Denim, Architecture and Summer Collection, demonstrating the students' versatility and creativity.

Hair and beauty students amazed the audience with their elaborate creations for the carnival theme, while fashion students displayed a variety of self-initiated designs, from elegant dresses to trendy t-shirts.

The Creative Exhibition, by art and design students, included a vast array of mixed media pieces, showcasing the diverse talents of the Creative Arts students. These works, ranging from group projects to final major projects, featured interactive and digital elements that added a modern twist to the traditional art display.

Rochelle Saneria, Director of Curriculum, praised the students for their exceptional work, stating, “The bar has been raised this year with students creating remarkable pieces for the art exhibition and fashion show catwalk. They awed the audience, and I’m extremely proud of their progress, which will undoubtedly enhance their career prospects.”
