The Cat & Mutton, Hackney

Every Sunday, the Cat & Mutton in Hackney serves a roast dinner with the choice of beef, pork, chicken and a mushroom, cashew nut Wellington.

The Three Crowns, Shoreditch

The Three Crowns in Shoreditch serves artisan street food from around the world along with a classic Sunday roast.

Offering four choices, you can get a roast rump of beef, half-roast chicken, roast lamb, and spinach and mushrooms in Wellington.

All come with roast potatoes and crushed celeriac, maple roast carrots, spring greens, Yorkshire pudding and gravy.

Meals cost between £18 to £21 and saw one guest say: "Absolutely delicious Sunday lunch, friendly staff set us up for a day walking London! Highly recommend!"

The Black Lion, Kilburn

People describe the Black Lion as an "exquisite period building" with a rich history and a captivating charm.

The pub's Sunday menu has several options, including sirloin of beef, Welsh lamb shoulder, pork loin, half rosemary and garlic roast chicken, nut roast with vegan gravy, mushroom, spinach and goat's cheese Wellington.

Prices start at £14.50 and rise to £19.50 with kids' portions costing £11 each.

With a 5/5 rating on TripAdvisor, one guest said: "We had a lovely Sunday roast here. The roast potatoes were delicious, and the gravy was so tasty and gluten-free."
