A man has been taken to hospital after an assault in Stratford earlier today.
Police were called at 9.15am today (Thursday) to reports of an assault in Broadway.
Emergency services attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital for treatment.
His condition is not life threatening.
A crime scene was put in place - this has since been lifted.
There has been no arrests at this stage and investigations are ongoing.
Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101 and quote CAD1790/10Oct.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "Police were called at approximately 9.15am on Thursday, 10 October to reports of an assault in Broadway, E15.
"Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a man was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.
"A crime scene was put in place – this has since been lifted.
"No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances are ongoing.
"Anyone with information is asked to call 101 or ‘X’ @MetCC and quote CAD1790/10Oct.
