Lidl will open a new Forest Gate store before Christmas, the chain has said.
It is one of three new openings which form part of a wider plan to create more than 100 new jobs in the capital.
The new stores in Forest Gate, Hoxton and Caterham will come just weeks after the launch of a Fulham branch.
Richard Taylor, chief development officer at Lidl GB, said: "Our plan to open three new stores in London before Christmas demonstrates our continued commitment to providing more communities across the country with access to affordable, quality food, as well as employment opportunities."
The chain is also expanding two existing London stores in Chessington and Dagenham.
This is part of a national expansion that will see a total of 10 new stores opened by Christmas.
Lidl has been named the UK’s fastest-growing bricks-and-mortar supermarket 14 times in a row.
