A new community centre is earmarked to open in Manor Park.

The London APSA Youth Project has purchased a building at 410a Coleridge Avenue which will be turned into a centre for young people.

Hafiz Ahmed, community project manager, said: "We are thrilled about the positive impact we hope to create for Manor Park and the surrounding areas.

“This centre will provide a safe and welcoming space for youth and families in the area. We will offer a wide range of programmes, including educational workshops, sports activities, mentoring, and more.
