A father-of-five has described winning a £30,000 competition cash prize as the "luckiest and best day" of his life.
Shahaid Khan, from Newham, was left in disbelief after discovering he had won the prize in BOTB’s One Day Special competition.
He received the news via a surprise video call from BOTB presenter Christian Williams.
Shahaid, originally from Afghanistan, said: "It feels amazing to have won and will change our lives.
"After growing up in a troubled country, I had a good feeling that something good was going to happen and that one day I would be hearing from Christian.
"I literally told my cousin two or three days before that it would happen soon.
"When I found out, I felt like I was dreaming, and it was the luckiest and best day of my life."
Shahaid plans to use the money to start a family business.
He said: "I’ll use the cash on some special gifts for the children, but I’m also planning on putting it towards a shop or takeaway."
BOTB presenter Christian Williams said: "£30,000 is a huge amount of money, so a massive congratulations to Shahaid.
"The fact that he’s a student and has five children, I’m sure having some extra cash in the bank will come in very handy, especially as he wants to launch his own family business."
BOTB, a car competitions company, was founded by William Hindmarch in 1999.
The company gives away a dream car each week, alongside a lifestyle prize, and offers people the chance to win holidays, cash, tech, cars, and more in its Instant Wins Competition.
To date, BOTB has given away £78million worth of cars.
