All proceeds are going to The Kevin Jenkins OBE Newham Christmas Toy Appeal, by charity Ambition, Aspire, Achieve (AAA) in partnership with the Recorder.
Theatre Royal Stratford East has also agreed to act as a place where people can drop off new toys for the appeal, which they will then bring over to AAA’s main hub in Canning Town.
Angela Frost, box office manager, said: “When you’re in the area, buy some books or a board game or any toys before December 12 and bring it into us.
"Every child deserves a gift at Christmas.”
